How Do I Know if My Child Requires Tutoring?

Do you open during school holidays?
The tuition center is open throughout the whole year. We close for few days during the festive & religious holidays. We expect the parents to rearrange any missed sessions.

What happens if we decide to go on holiday?
If you decide to go on holiday, we require 5 days’ notice. If you are away for less than 2 weeks, we expect you to come in extra to make up the missed session.

Is there a joining fee?
No.

Is there a cancellation period/notice?
If you decide to take a break from tuition, we expect you to give us 2 weeks’ notice.

Lesson structure?
The first 10 minutes of the lesson consists of reviewing homework from the previous session and addressing any issues. Majority of the session will consist on working through work which we provide or work that the student may have brought in to specifically go through. At the end of every session we set homework, to be due in for the next session

How Would My Child Benefit from Attending Tuto’s Tuition Centre?
Our program is designed to help establish a strong educational foundation for students. It is also designed to ensure that understanding and progress are made at a suitable pace for your child. Encouragement and support is offered at every step. Independent learning skills are also developed.

How Soon Should I Expect to See an Improvement in My Child’s Progress?
Some students may not be very far behind in their studies, only requiring a “top up”. Others may be further behind in their studies. Whatever the working level of your child, we aim to meet his or her educational needs from the very beginning. We encourage each student to perform to the best of their ability and provide support through each learning stage.
